Quality coconut coir with a compound blend of 70 coco pith / 30 coco fibre.

Coir is a very good growing medium with a high porosity and air capacity. It also offers a high cation exchange capacity and the ability to rewet. It is a very sustainable product compared to other growing mediums based on it being a by product of the coconut industry.

The coconut coir has a pH level of between 5.5 & 6.5.

There is very little loss in yield with coir for use up to 3 times. For reuse you just take coir out of the container, removing any roots and bio matter out before the growing medium before giving it a good wash. Let it dry and return coir to growing container. Coir from diseased plants should not be reused.
